Job Summary:

The Service Lot Attendant is a key member of the Brian Jessel BMW Service team responsible for ensuring our customer's last impression of Brian Jessel BMW is delivered with professionally cleaned vehicles. This role involves cleaning customer vehicles and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the service lot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare customer vehicles for service, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service wash bay, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with service drive-thru staff, service advisors, and valet to update vehicle status and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Identify and report any vehicle damages before washing, ensuring accurate documentation and minimizing potential issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the service team.

Requirements:

  • Valid BC Driver's License, Class 7 or Class 5, and ability to provide a driving abstract.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to cooperate with various departments.
  • Detail-oriented and able to withstand working in a semi-outdoor environment.
  • The ability to drive a manual transmission is an asset.

Compensation and Work Environment:

The Service Lot Attendant is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek, offering a competitive hourly rate of $20.00. Our hours of operation are Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Sunday and statutory holidays, 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
