Key Responsibilities- Uphold the values and expectations of the company through professional conduct.
- Engage in programming, implementation, and troubleshooting of PLCs, robots, and HMIs.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on production and auxiliary equipment.
- Perform repairs on various machinery.
- Design and maintain electrical schematics.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining programming and electrical standards.
- Ensure proper upkeep of all programming software and hardware.
- Complete all necessary work orders and documentation.
- Enhance equipment reliability and operational uptime.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor weld quality and perform necessary adjustments.
- Suggest modifications to machinery and components for optimal production.
- Troubleshoot robotic systems and welding controls.
- Operate lifting equipment as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
A Grade 12 diploma or equivalent is required, along with a Technician or Technologist diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics and Automation, or Mechatronics.
