About the Role

The Assistant Manager will support the Service Centre Manager in planning and executing the day-to-day activities of our service centres. This includes assisting in the achievement of a productive and profitable operation, promoting a corporate image of excellence, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in maximizing sales and profits by meeting and exceeding financial targets.
  • Collaborate with the Service Centre Manager to establish store objectives and implement strategies to achieve them.
  • Evaluate team results according to performance indicators (KPIs) and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and implement operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure customer expectations are consistently exceeded through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trade and fleet customers.
  • Recruit, train, and coach team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Promote a safe and productive work environment that supports employee growth and development.
  • Provide technical support to Interlock and glass technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with all insurance partners and company policies.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and minimize waste.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times.
  • Fulfill all responsibilities of the Service Centre Manager in their absence.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in sales, customer service, and/or management.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules and locations.
  • Mechanical aptitudes and a customer-focused approach.
  • Results-oriented with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to lead and motivate others.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
