Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Manager to lead our Construction Contract Administration team on major infrastructure construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, supervising, and exercising administrative authority over the construction contract administration team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and supervise the construction contract administration team to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
  • Exercise administrative authority over the construction contract administration team, including controlling contract administration resources and activities.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and plans, and make decisions regarding long-range planning, scheduling, budgeting, work priorities, and personnel.
  • Collaborate with construction contractors to eliminate hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of employees.
  • Oversee contract administration documentation, design drawings, and specifications, back-charge documents, change orders, and other project-related documents.
  • Make decisions regarding project execution, including assigning responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates.
  • Develop and implement project execution plans, health and safety plans, quality assurance/quality control plans, and other project-related documents.
  • Mobilize company resources to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.
  • Work with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project.
  • Work with key project individuals to devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work.
  • Promote technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of quality assurance processes.
  • Monitor and report to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions that would affect project cost or schedule.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management or Civil Engineering related technical/business field.
  • 10+ years of related engineering management experience on large-scale programs.
  • Professional registration with PEO.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and project management certification requirements.
  • Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications, and ability to meet customer security requirements.
