Key Responsibilities

The Kitchen Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen. The main duties include:

  1. Developing and implementing strategies to meet work schedules.
  2. Supervising and coordinating the activities of kitchen staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  3. Training team members on job responsibilities, hygiene standards, and safety protocols.
  4. Estimating and ordering necessary ingredients and supplies.
  5. Recruiting and hiring food service personnel.
  6. Ensuring compliance with food service standards and quality control measures.
  7. Preparing budgets and cost estimates for kitchen operations.
  8. Addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints.
  9. Maintaining accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  10. Compiling and submitting operational reports.
  11. Preparing food order summaries for the chef.
  12. Possessing knowledge of various culinary styles relevant to the establishment.
  13. Overseeing the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food services.
  14. Creating and managing work schedules for kitchen staff.
Qualifications

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
