- Develop and implement effective methods to achieve work schedules
- Order food and kitchen supplies as needed
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Assess the ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation
- Ensure that food quality and service meet established standards
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
- Prepare and submit detailed reports
- Compile food order summaries for the chef
- Possess knowledge of the restaurant's culinary specialties
- Establish and manage work schedules for staff
The Culinary Operations Supervisor will also assist with the immediate settlement needs of newcomers and refugees, including:
- Providing support for housing, transportation, and childcare
- Recruiting individuals displaced by conflict or natural disasters
- Facilitating foreign credential recognition for newcomers
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
