We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Gas Station Supervisor to join our team at K2 MART BELLEVILLE.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Staff: Lead and manage a team of staff members, including apprentices, stages hands, and design team members.
  • Hire and Train: Recruit and train new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Order Merchandise: Place orders for merchandise and supplies to maintain an adequate inventory level.
  • Authorize Returns: Review and authorize returns of merchandise to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Sell Merchandise: Sell merchandise to customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve Issues: Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
  • Organize Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient stock management.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Retail business with on-site customer service.
  • Tasks: Supervise staff, hire and train, order merchandise, authorize returns, sell merchandise, prepare reports, resolve issues, and organize inventory.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, ability to multitask.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year, permanent position, 40 hours per week, English language, work setting: retail business.
