About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Sault Area Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients.
- Apply the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Provide health education to patients and families.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to occupational health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Certificate of competency in Ontario.
- Certificate of critical care nursing from a recognized program.
- ACLS certification.
- Recent experience working in an ICU environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated clinical competency in managing level 3 patients in an ICU setting.
- IV therapy skills.
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment required for patient care.
