Critical Care Nurse

Job Summary:
Sault Area Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver high-quality patient care in a critical care setting.
- Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and well-being.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- Certificate of competency in Ontario.
- Certificate of critical care nursing from a program that meets the standards of Critical Care in Ontario.
- ACLS certification.
- Recent experience working in an ICU environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated clinical competency in the management and care of level 3 patients in an ICU environment.
- Experience with IV therapy and mechanical equipment required for patient care.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships and interact with patients, families, and colleagues in a professional and respectful manner.
