About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of safety and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to Field Supervisors by assisting with training, fleet maintenance, and site information.
  • Supervise and guide Officers, support special coverages, and ensure efficient branch operations after hours.
  • Resolve on-site issues, escalating only when necessary, to ensure smooth security operations.
  • Patrol assigned sites, respond to alarm and emergency dispatches, and assist Officers as needed.
  • Ensure all mobile security operations are organized, conducted appropriately, and align with Paladin's management policies.
Specific Duties
  • Ensure guidelines and standards are adhered to, including the inspection of Officers' Security Licenses.
  • Follow direction of the Field Supervisor and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Complete daily duties, including checking emails, answering pressing issues, and discussing events with previous shifts.
  • Complete incident reports, shift pass-ons, and Shift Hazard Assessments by the end of each shift.
  • Assist with minor fleet maintenance and repairs, and notify issues to the Field Supervisor or Manager.
  • Participate in monthly audits and safety inspections, maintain records, and prepare incident reports.
  • Conduct site orientation and training of new Officers, ensuring site orientation packages and officer review tests are completed.
  • Attend unscheduled and scheduled meetings, and provide coverage for shifts as needed.
  • Respond to emergencies and take command of situations until a Paladin Supervisor or Manager can attend.
Requirements
  • Unrestricted Class 5 Driver's License or 7N Driver's License.
  • 3-year Drivers Abstract.
  • Strong knowledge of the area.
  • Confident driving in various road conditions.
  • Professional and strong customer service skills.
  • Effective communication with clients, emergency personnel, and the public.
  • Multitasking, working under pressure, and making sound decisions in emergencies.
  • Following written and verbal instructions, including writing comprehensive reports.
  • Maintaining patrol records accurately.
  • Handling confidential information with discretion.
