Job Summary:

The CB Canada team is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the accounting team, ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts receivable, including handling incoming donations and managing cash flow
  • Process accounts payable, including vendor payments and expense management
  • Manage employee expense reports and ensure accurate reimbursement
  • Reconcile credit card statements and bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Post-secondary education in accounting or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
