Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

At Flamingo Inn, we are seeking a detail-oriented and physically capable Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Bed Making and Linen: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Disinfection and Sanitation: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, and clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and clean changing rooms and showers.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding with bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
