Job Title: Oil and Gas Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team at Roska DBO Inc. in Fort St. John.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our team, manage multiple tasks, and work effectively in a large team setting. As a representative of our office, you will build strong working relationships across the organization and develop, implement, and maintain administrative systems to support the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a multi-line switchboard and manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • Process weekly Grand & Toy Orders and monitor, maintain, and order office supplies as required
  • Process weekly Save-On orders and monitor, maintain, and order supplies as required
  • Provide administrative support to team members as needed
  • Maintain interpersonal relations with staff and outside service personnel
  • Provide problem analysis and solving skills, including identifying existing and possible issues and implementing solutions
  • Provide vacation coverage as required
  • Process AP Headering and Manual Entry of Invoices to Open Invoice
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of oil and gas administration experience with Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Formal administrative training would be considered an asset
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required
  • Physically fit and able to lift
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of programs
  • Experience with Open Invoice and JD Edwards would be considered an asset
