Job Title: Moving Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Moving Truck Driver to join our team at Calgary Pro Movers. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and Unload Goods: Ensure that goods are properly loaded and unloaded from trucks to prevent damage and ensure timely delivery.
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Safely operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Emergency Roadside Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs to ensure that trucks are operational and ready for use.
  • Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure that trucks are in good working condition and that all necessary safety checks have been performed.
  • Tarping and Cargo Security: Ensure that cargo is properly secured and protected during transport to prevent damage and loss.
  • Dangerous Goods Transport: Transport and handle dangerous goods safely and in accordance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence: Possess a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) and a Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Experience: Have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Be willing to relocate and work on the road.
