Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Jani Moving & Delivery Ltd. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently from one location to another.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Local transportation/travel experience
  • Will train
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40-50 hours per week
Working Conditions:

As a Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials.
