Position Overview

As a Hospitality Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our esteemed establishment. Your commitment to excellence will ensure that our guests enjoy a pristine environment during their stay.

Work Environment

This position is set within a luxurious hotel, resort, or motel, where attention to detail and guest satisfaction are paramount.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure cleanliness.
  • Dust and maintain furniture to uphold a tidy appearance.
  • Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Make beds and change linens for guest comfort.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries as needed.
  • Stock and organize the linen closet efficiently.
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Ensure operating rooms and other areas are thoroughly disinfected.
  • Maintain cleanliness in elevators and common areas.
  • Handle and report lost and found items responsibly.
  • Attend to guests' requests for additional supplies or information.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers regularly.
  • Mend clothing and linens as necessary.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a pristine environment.
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism.
Security and Safety

A criminal record check is required for this position to ensure the safety of our guests.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to meet tight deadlines and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Physically demanding role requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
