Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team at Summit Resort MPM o/a Blackcomb Springs Suites. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, pick up debris and empty trash containers, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work independently, ability to work under pressure, fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, walking.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, excellent written communication, values and ethics, patience, honesty.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking, staff accommodation available.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
