Shift Leader - Key Responsibilities

As a Shift Leader at Kitchen Stuff Plus, you will play a vital role in directing work during shifts and assuming responsibility of the store while acting as the Manager on Duty.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and directing sales floor operations in customer service, merchandising, housekeeping standards, shipping and receiving, and health and safety.
  • Managing and delegating tasks to Associates and providing support to drive productivity and achieve service and sales goals.
  • Mentoring and guiding Associates to ensure they are well-trained and capable of performing assigned tasks and providing service.
  • Providing exceptional and responsive customer service while achieving sales and conversion goals.
  • Evaluating and continuously improving the quality of service; investigating, resolving, and escalating customer matters as appropriate.
  • Maintaining knowledge of product selection, location, features, and benefits, and in-store promotions and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensuring accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and store procedures.
  • Supervising and directing shipping and receiving operations.

Requirements

  • Computer skills and ability to learn technological systems with ease.
  • Leadership skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude.
  • Availability to work extended days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Flexibility to transfer to other store locations as needed.
  • Lift up to 40lbs.
  • Ladder use to 10 feet.
  • Stand/walk for 8 hours.
