Position Overview: In the role of Construction Project Manager and Estimator, you will be instrumental in managing projects from initial planning through to completion. Your expertise in estimating and project oversight will be crucial in achieving successful outcomes that align with client needs and company goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed material take-offs and generate precise cost estimates for Division 8 projects.
- Work closely with architects, contractors, and suppliers to formulate comprehensive project plans and specifications.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate with internal teams to source materials, manage inventory, and streamline logistics as required.
- Provide technical direction and support to project teams, addressing challenges or discrepancies that may arise.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to Division 8 products and construction management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management and estimating, specifically focusing on Division 8 products (doors, frames, hardware).
- Solid understanding of construction principles, building codes, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff) and project management tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera).
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time, within budget, and exceeding client expectations.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- PMP certification or similar credentials are advantageous.
