Job Title: General Manager

Pioneer Cruises is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our organization to success. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and direction of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to achieve business objectives.
  • Authorize and establish major departments and senior staff positions to support business growth.
  • Establish financial and administrative controls to ensure efficient operations.
  • Represent the organization in negotiations and official functions, or delegate representatives as needed.
  • Select and develop middle managers, directors, and other executive staff to drive business success.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a management role, preferably in the cruise industry.
  • Proven track record of success in leading teams and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the organization effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
Working Conditions:
  • Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage a team of over 20 people, including working groups and committees.
  • Collaborate with staff in various areas of responsibility to achieve business objectives.
Personal Suitability:
  • Accurate and efficient in all aspects of work.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Judgement and decision-making skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication.
Work Schedule:
  • 30 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
