About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at General Dynamics Land Systems. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving our mission to protect and enable those who serve.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead data management initiatives for Integrated Product Support, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
  2. Develop and present fleet management concepts to customers, leveraging your expertise to drive business growth.
  3. Liaise with stakeholders to deliver complex business solutions that require software implementation, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  4. Troubleshoot using automation testing and recommend solutions to mitigate risk on software implementation projects.
  5. Utilize Atlassian collaboration platform applications to manage and track software code changes, ensuring version control and quality assurance.
  6. Engage with Field Service teams to ensure business continuity for electronic tools and architecture, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Manage the integration of electronic tools and architecture with vendor software and departmental software and databases, ensuring seamless data exchange.
  8. Ensure alignment across departments in managing the Configuration & Sustainment Equipment Tracking Systems and Retrofit & Repair Tracking System, driving consistency and accuracy.
  9. Develop databases to manage workflow and fleet management support needs, leveraging your technical expertise to drive business outcomes.
  10. Collaborate across departments to meet schedule and other customer objectives, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

Requirements

  1. University degree in Computer Science, DevOps, or related field.
  2. Technical experience and capabilities in programming languages (Java, VB.NET, VBA, Javascript, XPath), web-based development tools, content management systems, and MS Office applications.
  3. Demonstrated ability to communicate proposed technical solutions in the context of required business outcomes through written reports, meetings, and formal presentations.
  4. Minimum 5-7 years' experience with databases, including development and support.
  5. Ability to travel (5% Canadian, 5% US & International) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Familiarity with Fleet Management Support and/or Customer Support Services organization.
  2. Experience with military vehicle configurations.
  3. Knowledge of Business Process Analysis.
