Join the Nursing Innovation Program at Michael Garron Hospital (MGH)

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Facilitator to become an integral part of our team, assisting in the execution of diverse research and innovation initiatives. Reporting directly to the Manager of Nursing Innovation, the Clinical Research Facilitator will oversee the management of research and quality enhancement activities. This role necessitates the coordination of various studies, data gathering, analysis, and project oversight.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Manager and team members to develop and sustain the program.
  • Perform literature reviews and prepare applications for research ethics approval.
  • Lead the processes for participant recruitment and informed consent.
  • Organize data collection tools and databases.
  • Coordinate the collection and analysis of data.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations.
  • Oversee program expenditures and manage participant stipends.
  • Provide support to team members and offer research guidance.
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure follow-up activities are completed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, with experience in healthcare research.
  • Master's degree in a healthcare discipline, with ongoing PhD studies preferred.
  • Certification in principles of research ethics.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare research.
  • Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data management and analysis software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
