Camp Director

The Prosserman JCC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Camp Director to lead our summer programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our camp operations, including staff development and retention.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a strategic plan for the growth and development of our multi-campus camping program, aligning with the JCC's mission and vision.
- Work closely with the senior team to ensure that camp is a key component of the JCC's community engagement strategy, strengthening the connection between camp families and the JCC 12 months a year.
- Identify and anticipate trends in camping, Jewish identity building, and youth development, incorporating them into our programs and culture.
- Set short- and long-term goals for program innovation, staff development, and increased community impact.
- Lead initiatives to enhance the camp's reputation as a premier destination for both campers and staff, ensuring high standards of quality and a deep connection to community.
- Minimum 5 years' experience running a camp of similar size, with at least 5 years of staff management experience.
- Exceptional financial and business acumen, including analytics, with a proven track record of managing budgets over $2 million.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize time effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Jewish holidays and rituals, as well as an understanding of Israel and its culture.
