Job Title: Painter and Decorator Helper

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator Helper to join our team at Flames Art Paint Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our painters and decorators in various tasks related to construction and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erecting and Dismantling Scaffolding: Assist in erecting and dismantling scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mixing and Spreading Materials: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Cleaning and Piling Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Removing Debris: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: At heights, confined spaces, dangerous, dusty, cold/refrigerated.
  • Work Setting: Various locations.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
  • Transportation/Travel: Own transportation and willing to travel.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, tight deadlines, manual dexterity, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and overtime required.
