Culinary Services Supervisor

The Culinary Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of food preparation and service within a bustling food establishment. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Educational Requirements- Completion of secondary school is mandatory.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, noisy environment with distinct food odors.
- Develop and implement effective work schedules to optimize staff productivity.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to new employees on job responsibilities, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Recruit and hire food service personnel.
- Ensure that all food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and inquiries promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
- Oversee a team of 5-10 kitchen and food service assistants.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
- Must be able to meet tight deadlines and stand for extended periods.
- Frequent walking is required.
- Strong client focus and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
- This is a permanent position requiring 40 hours of work per week.
- Work language is English.
