Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at Biryani Lounge. As a key member of our dining room staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dining area, kitchen, and storage areas.
    • Sanitize equipment and utensils according to health and safety standards.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive and store supplies, including food, beverages, and cleaning materials.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Collaborate with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
    • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to resolve any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • Experience in a food service or hospitality environment is an asset.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English is required.
