Job Summary

This position will plan, develop, implement, and oversee the day-to-day operation of Connective's Program(s) as well as supervise the program staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and develop the program/s in consultation with the Program Manager, Senior Manager or their designate.
  • Formulate program/s policies and procedures and evaluate the program/s in consultation with the Program Manager, Senior Manager or their designate.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the program/s by ensuring that the necessary facilities and equipment are in place, program guidelines and policies are adhered to, and program standards and licensing requirements are met.
  • Provide direct support services as assigned by Program Manager, Senior Manager or their designate.
  • Supervise program/s staff by performing duties such as assigning work, providing feedback on performance, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of program staff by performing duties such as screening applicants, participating on interview panels, and making hiring recommendations.
  • Schedule program staff in accordance to program staffing requirements.
  • Orient, determine the need for and provide training to program staff, volunteers and practicum students.
  • Monitor and authorize program/s expenditures and maintain financial records in accordance with established procedures.
  • Promote public awareness of and support for the program by performing duties such as producing promotional materials and attending community events.
  • Liaise with community service providers and other professionals to coordinate service provision, facilitate referrals to the program and represent the organization or program in external events.
  • Maintain related records and statistics and produce reports as required.
  • Travel to other program sites as deemed necessary.
  • Be on-call as required.
Requirements
  • Ability to successfully complete a Vulnerable Persons Criminal Records Check.
  • Ability to successfully pass a reference check.
  • Current Emergency First Aid Certificate.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Personal transportation that is in good repair, insured for business up to $1,000,000 for liability, and which can be used to transport clients.
  • Proof of two doses of Covid-19 Vaccine.
