About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team at GOURMET CARLETON PLACE INC. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and Financial Management
    • Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and revenue growth
    • Develop and implement budget plans to ensure profitability
  • Operational Excellence
    • Evaluate and improve daily operations to increase efficiency and productivity
    • Develop and implement procedures to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of staff members
    • Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing coaching and feedback as needed
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Develop and implement marketing plans to increase brand awareness and drive business growth
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
    • Develop and implement procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • Experience
    • 2-3 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to analyze financial data and develop budget plans
    • Experience with MS Office and other restaurant management software
