Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee our financial operations at Bar.B.Q 1988. This role is crucial in managing our financial strategy and ensuring the organization’s fiscal health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Allocation: Distribute material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and initiatives.
  • Departmental Leadership: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and appoint senior staff positions.
  • Coordination: Facilitate collaboration among regions, divisions, or departments to achieve organizational goals.
  • Strategic Objectives: Set objectives for the organization and formulate or approve relevant policies and programs.
  • Representation: Act on behalf of the organization in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Staff Selection: Choose middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate necessary authority and create optimal working conditions.
  • Financial Oversight: Establish financial and administrative controls; approve promotional campaigns and overall human resources planning.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Manage a team of 11-15 individuals across various areas of responsibility.

Technical Proficiency

Proficient in MS Office and other relevant technologies.

Travel Requirements

Willingness to travel is essential, with travel expenses covered by the employer.

Work Environment

Fast-paced setting requiring the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar role.

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Accurate and sound judgment.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary Range: $100,001 - $500,000.
  • Health Benefits: Includes dental, healthcare, and vision care plans.
  • Employment Duration: Permanent position.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
