Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping

The Financial Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.

Financial Reporting

The Financial Officer will prepare and submit financial reports to management, including trial balances, income statements, and balance sheets.

Payroll and Accounts Payable

The Financial Officer will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, as well as managing accounts payable and ensuring timely payment to vendors.

Financial Analysis

The Financial Officer will analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and make recommendations to management.

Requirements
  • Education

A college diploma or certificate in a related field, such as accounting or finance.

Experience

At least 2 years of experience in a financial role, preferably in a similar industry.

Skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Language

Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
