About the Role

Aviso Wealth is seeking a highly skilled Estate Specialist to join our Operations team. As an Estate Specialist, you will play a critical role in the review, preparation, settlement, and taxation filing of client estate accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients by ensuring timely and accurate completion of estate settlements and related tasks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve escalations and ensure seamless execution of estate-related processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices, including MFDA, IIROC, CRA, and RQ rules and regulations.
  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as finance or business.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably in estates, registered plans, or operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
