Job Title: Electrical Estimator Senior

Main Responsibilities:
  • Estimate, analyze, and evaluate large electrical projects in the transportation sector in Quebec.
  • Prepare and submit bids, including reading and analyzing plans, estimates, and addenda.
  • Calculate quantities needed for the project.
  • Participate in developing construction methods.
  • Obtain and analyze prices from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Assemble the bid in an estimation software (TPL, Excel, or other).
  • Analyze risks and identify constraints for project realization.
  • Develop project schedules.
  • Design technical solutions.
  • Establish labor curves.
  • Available for travel to project sites, attend client meetings, and/or construction meetings.
  • Participate in presenting and finalizing the bid with management.
  • Perform other related tasks.
Required Profile:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and a CEC (Certificat d'expertise comptable) certification.
  • Excellent analytical skills, good judgment, and ability to work on multiple files simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with rapid execution.
  • Autonomy, interpersonal skills, and collaboration with various teams.
  • Project management, cost analysis, and change management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Valid driver's license and ASP (Atout) card.
  • Excellent written and spoken French, with English as an asset.
