About the RoleThe Steward is a vital member of our Food and Beverage team, responsible for providing award-winning service and ensuring the highest level of cleanliness in our outlets. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize china, glass, and silver using a dish machine
- Maintain the sanitation of all major kitchen equipment, culinary, and food and beverage facilities
- Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
- Maintain the silver polishing program
- Utilize and handle cleaning supplies and chemicals in a safe manner
- Capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Preferred qualifications include prior experience in stewarding or cleaning.
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is desirable.
- Demonstrates the ability to quickly and positively establish rapport with a positive outlook.
- Possesses excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in Canada.
