Overview

The Process Supervisor is responsible for overseeing production line operations to achieve objectives related to safety, quality, cost efficiency, productivity, sanitation, and employee involvement. This role requires collaboration with all team members and departments to meet established performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate closely with the Shift Supervisor 2 and Shift Manager to meet production targets and key performance indicators.
  2. Coordinate effectively with the Field department/Supervisor 2 and raw materials receiving team to optimize the use of raw products.
  3. Work alongside the Quality team to ensure that the final products comply with quality standards and customer requirements.
  4. Partner with the Sanitation team to maintain plant cleanliness and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  5. Engage with the Maintenance team to ensure equipment operates efficiently and promote teamwork between both groups.
  6. Encourage and promote safe working practices among employees, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures. Actively participate in health and safety initiatives, leading efforts towards zero incidents.
  7. Execute supervisory duties in line with organizational policies and relevant laws.
  8. Assist in the preparation, execution, review, and follow-up of audits.
  9. Ensure customer satisfaction by adhering to all product quality specifications.
  10. Follow all HACCP guidelines, rules, and regulations throughout the food production process, including the completion of necessary documentation.
  11. Support continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Sigma principles and plant objectives.
  12. Act as an ambassador for RTM and MDI principles.
  13. Perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned, including accident investigations.
  14. Other related responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
  1. Supervisory experience is preferred, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
  2. A degree or diploma in a relevant field (Agriculture, Engineering, Business, or Food Science) is preferred but not mandatory.
  3. A combination of experience and educational qualifications will be considered.
  4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively using time management and organizational skills.
  6. Strong leadership abilities, reasoning, and judgment are essential for effective planning and execution.
Physical Demands
  1. Frequent walking, including navigating stairs.
  2. Working in varying temperatures and humidity levels.
  3. Regularly lifting or moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
