As a Commercial Insurance Advisor, your primary responsibility will be to drive client acquisition and enhance our commercial insurance portfolio through proactive outreach, client engagement, and sales initiatives. You will be instrumental in identifying potential clients in various business sectors, providing exceptional service, assessing risks, and delivering tailored insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Initiating and managing inbound and outbound communications to develop a robust sales pipeline, crafting marketing strategies to highlight our insurance products, and contributing to sales, profitability, and growth objectives. Performing risk evaluations and commercial assessments in line with underwriting standards. Collaborating with clients to understand their objectives, offering risk management insights and recommendations for coverage, executing policy updates, and documenting necessary modifications. Conducting policy evaluations to identify evolving coverage needs, addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating matters as needed. Engaging in community events to boost brand recognition and nurturing relationships to enhance agency visibility and optimize new business prospects.Success Factors:
You maintain a positive and determined approach in achieving your goals, effectively managing your sales portfolio. You develop strategic plans aimed at increasing market share and employ innovative strategies to enhance operational efficiency with a client-focused perspective. You possess strong communication abilities to influence others and facilitate mutually beneficial outcomes.Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in commercial insurance (experience in agricultural insurance is a plus). A post-secondary education in a relevant field is advantageous. A valid General insurance license is required.Additional Information:
A personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and insurance are necessary. Regular travel is expected. This role involves direct interactions with clients and/or service providers in their environments. Flexibility for extended hours, including evenings and weekends, is required. A Criminal Record and Consumer History background check will be conducted as part of the employment process for successful candidates. Proficiency in both English and French is essential for fulfilling the primary responsibilities of this role, including servicing and communicating with a diverse clientele.Benefits:
