Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring accurate sample identification and adherence to specimen protocols
- Upholding quality control measures and resolving any discrepancies
- Accurately documenting and interpreting laboratory results
- Conducting routine maintenance on laboratory instruments
- Addressing technical challenges as they arise
- Documenting incidents and non-compliance issues
Qualifications:
- Proven decision-making capabilities and the ability to work autonomously
- Strong interpersonal skills conducive to teamwork
- CSMLS Registration as a practicing Medical Laboratory Technologist
- Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to resolve technical problems effectively
- Experience with Molecular/PCR Testing is advantageous
Work Environment:

- Exposure to chemicals and biohazardous materials
