About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Barber to join our team at Bayside Barber Shop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair cutting and styling services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Book appointments and manage client schedules
  • Cut and trim hair according to client preferences, using a variety of techniques and tools
  • Shampoo and condition hair, as well as provide scalp massages
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches, using precision and care
  • Provide additional hair treatments, such as waving, straightening, and tinting
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair to achieve the desired look
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the hair industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Hand-eye coordination and ability to stand for extended periods
