Are you seeking a fantastic opportunity to work with one of Canada's leading RV companies in their Service Department? If so, CanaDream is on the lookout for a Pre-Delivery Technician / Exterior Cleaner to enhance our team.
About the Role:This position requires a unique individual, and we are prepared to train the right candidate. The most successful individuals are detail-oriented and take pride in their craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:Your duties will include:
- Conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections on recreational vehicles and performing necessary repairs
- Cleaning the exterior of RVs, including windows and various compartments
- Utilizing troubleshooting techniques to identify and implement appropriate repair procedures
- Disassembling, inspecting, and determining required parts, then reassembling to meet factory standards
- Identifying warranty claims and coordinating necessary repairs
- Assisting guests with any on-road issues
- Delivering comprehensive customer service
- Ensuring a safe working environment for both customers and colleagues
- Working independently with minimal supervision
- Completing other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
- Previous experience in automotive cleaning and detailing is a strong asset
- Basic automotive mechanical knowledge is beneficial
- Hands-on experience with RV preventative maintenance, including propane, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, water systems, and slides is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams
- Familiarity with installation and product specifications
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where guest satisfaction is paramount
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including repetitive motions, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong organizational and sequencing abilities
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Enthusiastic demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills, and keen attention to detail
- Valid Driver's License
- Availability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
