About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Whitehorse Motors Ltd. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient repair and maintenance of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Road Testing and Inspection: Conduct thorough road tests to identify any issues with vehicles and inspect vehicles to diagnose problems.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, including mechanical units and components, to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance service on vehicles to ensure they are running efficiently and safely.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and complete reports to record problems and work performed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive industry, or equivalent education and training.
  • Certifications: Possess the required certifications for the position, as indicated above.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
