Cenovus is seeking an Engineering Student to join our Developments Engineering Team. As a key member of our team, you will support the execution of project scopes, progression of project execution in the Atlantic Region, and application of Cenovus guidance.
Key Responsibilities- Support the developments engineering team with project deliverables.
- Conduct research related to technology applicable to the local oil and gas industry.
- Apply knowledge of Project Management Environment and Capital Allocation Model.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term.
- Available to begin work in January 2025.
- Innovative, with a strong desire to learn and ability to encourage new ways of looking at problems, processes, or solutions.
- Demonstrates collaboration by actively seeking out diverse people and ideas to achieve goals.
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
- Flexible to changing work demands and ability to prioritize.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office Products).
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Must be enrolled in an Engineering Program (all disciplines will be considered) at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of the intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term.
- Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered.
- New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
