Teaching Opportunity at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc.

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a part-time teacher to work with elementary students in a learning centre setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach elementary students in a one-on-one or small group setting
  • Follow the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Communicate with parents and students through regular updates and progress reports
  • Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Availability during after-school and evening hours
  • Commitment to the end of the school year
  • In-person instruction
  • Ability to commute to the learning centre
  • Mandatory vulnerable sector screening
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Some post-secondary education
  • Experience teaching or tutoring elementary students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
