About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ready-Mix Truck Driver to join our team at 8894205 Canada Corp. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to various construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operations: Safely operate a ready-mix truck to transport concrete to construction sites, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, including checking the brakes, tires, and other critical systems.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload concrete from the truck, taking care to avoid spills and ensure accurate delivery.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, location, and quantity of concrete delivered.
  • Safety and Security: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following company safety policies.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a Ready-Mix Truck Driver is preferred.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and a valid Driver's License (Class 3 or D) are required.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires physical stamina, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment and lifting heavy objects.
