Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Oyster Freight Services Inc. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Basic security clearance
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience an asset
  • International transportation experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
