Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Gifft Express Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mountain Driving Expertise: Navigate through challenging mountainous terrain with ease and precision.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our clients receive their goods on time and in excellent condition.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with our two-person team or convoy to ensure smooth and efficient transportation.
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods, taking care to secure them properly for transportation.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain your vehicle, ensuring that it is in good working condition.
  • Emergency Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs, minimizing downtime and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring that your vehicle is safe and ready for the road.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, using tarps and other measures as necessary.
Requirements:
  • AZ Class License: Possess a valid AZ class license.
  • Transportation: Own transportation, with a reliable vehicle.
  • Work Conditions: Work in a physically demanding environment, with repetitive tasks and sitting for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess excellent oral communication skills, be flexible, organized, reliable, and a team player.

Work Details: 30-40 hours per week, with a permanent work term and English as the primary work language.
