About the Role

As a key member of our team at TAG HR, you will play a vital role in supporting our law firm clients in their litigation matters.

Responsibilities

  • Document Preparation: Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research on laws, regulations, and legal articles to support case development and strategy.
  • Case Management: Manage and organize case files, both electronic and physical filing systems, to ensure efficient and effective case management.
  • Communication: Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties to facilitate case progress and resolution.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, hearings, and meetings, as well as managing calendars, billing, and expenses.
  • Confidentiality and Ethics: Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of your work.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience assisting cases in litigation law.
  • Education: A legal assistant diploma, paralegal certificate, or law clerk certificate.
  • Skills: Skilled in Microsoft Office, legal software, research, and documentation drafting, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication abilities.
  • Work Environment: Availability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment.
