The primary objective of this role is to execute proficient preventative and predictive maintenance as a skilled mechanic.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and interpret both verbal and written directives from management. Conduct repairs on facility machinery as necessary to resolve operational issues. Perform welding and fabrication tasks according to technical drawings and schematics. Regularly assess the operational status of machinery and maintain necessary documentation. Carry out preventive maintenance tasks as required and keep accurate records. Execute installations and alignments to guarantee optimal machinery performance. Ensure a tidy and organized workspace. Adhere to all safety and environmental protocols during operations. Be available for overtime as required (including unscheduled downtime) and on-call duties. Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by management.Qualifications for Success:
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance processes. Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment. Effective time management and prioritization capabilities. Ability to read and comprehend schematics, blueprints, and technical repair manuals. Understanding of safety regulations and protocols.Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory. One year of technical training in general maintenance is preferred.Experience Requirements:
2 to 5 years of experience in general maintenance is essential. Alternatively, any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to fulfill the key responsibilities of this role is acceptable.
