Job Title: Material Handler

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Material Handler to join our team at Landscape Centre Inc.

Job Summary:

The Material Handler will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
  • Operating a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Packing and unpacking goods
  • Sorting, crating, and stacking goods
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory
  • Performing laboring duties in warehouses
  • Operating a forklift
  • Filling out product inspection reports
  • Operating industrial trucks, tractors, and other mobile equipment
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

Work Environment:

The Material Handler will work in a warehouse environment with a fast-paced and physically demanding workload. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

The Material Handler will work 40 to 48 hours per week.
