Job Title: Material Handler

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Material Handler to join our team at Your Landscape Construction Centre Inc. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading products and materials from trucks, trailers, and containers
  • Moving products and materials within the warehouse using manual or powered equipment
  • Operating a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Packing and unpacking goods, sorting, crating, and stacking materials
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory levels to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
  • Performing laboring duties in warehouses, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Operating forklifts, industrial trucks, tractors, and other mobile equipment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling environment is an asset
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
