Job Title: Material Handler

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Material Handler to join our team at Landscape Centre Inc.

Job Summary:

The Material Handler will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
  • Operating a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Providing customer service and ensuring a positive experience for customers
  • Packing and unpacking goods
  • Sorting, crating, and stacking goods
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory
  • Performing laboring duties in warehouses
  • Operating a forklift and other industrial equipment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a warehouse or material handling environment an asset
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform laboring duties

Work Environment:

The Material Handler will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a variety of equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

40 to 48 hours per week.
