We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine physician to join our team at Cowichan District Hospital for part-time locum coverage. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our Emergency Department.

About the Role

We are a group of enthusiastic ED physicians with CCFP-EM and FRCP certification. Our Emergency Department sees approximately visits per day, and we have a Rapid Access and Diagnostic Virtual Unit (RADU) that manages patients meeting strict criteria who are likely to be discharged within 24 hours of admission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work Emergency Department shifts, including Day, Afternoon, Early Evening, Late Evening, and Overnight shifts
  • Provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth and development of our Emergency Department
  • Collaborate with our team of physicians and staff to ensure seamless patient care
